The Facts

On May 10th, 2019, Olivia was driving her work vehicle eastbound on the Belt Parkway.  As she was slowing down, a school bus crashed into the rear of her vehicle! She struck the back of her head on the headrest, but, thankfully, did not lose consciousness. Olivia was transported by ambulance to Long Island Jewish Hospital where she was evaluated and discharged home.

As a result of the accident, Olivia injured her neck, lower back, right shoulder, right knee and left wrist. She described the pain in her neck as a sharp deep pain and pressure around the neck. She felt her lower back pain radiate down her right leg with a tingling sensation in her feet. In the mornings, she experienced pain and joint stiffness in her right shoulder.
