What Happened?
In December 2016, Alexis was driving to work with her daughter in the vehicle. While she was driving west on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx and about to cross the intersection of Hull Avenue, there was an ambulette attempting to make an illegal u-turn from the far right lane and failed to see Alexis driving on the left side. Alexis had just entered the intersection when the ambulette t-boned her car on the passenger’s side! The driver of the ambulette got out of his vehicle to check on them and apologized for not seeing them on the road. Alexis and her daughter were transported to the emergency room at Montefiore Medical Center where they were evaluated, treated and discharged home with pain medication.
As a result of the accident, Alexis suffered injuries to her right shoulder, neck, right hip, and lower back.
