“Whatever challenges arose, I left them in Matthew and Adam’s hands, and they took care of everything. They are superb, truly excellent, and did an incredible job. I would rate them above anyone else!”
- Pierce from Yonkers, NY
What Happened?
On May 9, 2024, Pierce was driving on West Farms Road in Bronx, New York. As he approached a double-parked vehicle, Pierce carefully navigated around it. Suddenly, the driver of the parked car flung open their door, striking the front passenger side of Pierce’s vehicle. Although he didn’t seek immediate medical attention, Pierce later visited St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers due to increasing pain. There, he was evaluated, treated, and later discharged home with a prescription for medication.
The collision left Pierce with injuries to his neck, back, right shoulder, right wrist, right knee, and right ankle. Before this accident, he had undergone a right knee arthroscopy in 2016 and had been symptom-free until this incident. Following the collision, Pierce experienced sharp pain in his right shoulder and right knee, along with difficulty lifting, pulling, and pushing. His knee issues made bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing challenging, and he endured knee buckling that didn’t improve with conservative treatment. Ultimately, he required another right knee arthroscopy in September 2024.
