What Happened?
On October 24th, 2019, Amy was driving on the highway in the Bronx when a speeding vehicle drove past her. Soon after, she was struck in the rear by another speeding vehicle that ended up losing control of their car! Amy’s car was struck so hard that she hit the left side of her head/jaw inside of the car and her car spun out of control! Apparently, the car that hit her was drag racing the first car that sped past Amy on the highway. She was brought by ambulance to a nearby emergency room where she was evaluated and later released home.
As a result of the accident, Amy injured her jaw (fractured cusp tooth), neck, shoulders, upper back, head, and left ear. She complained of headaches and jaw pain, especially when chewing. She had trouble reaching up and lifting items due to the pain in her shoulders. Amy also said that the pain in her neck radiated all the way down to her left shoulder blade and felt tingling in the left shoulder blade area as well. The severity and ongoing nature of her pain limited her ability to participate in the activities she once enjoyed. Amy was required to undergo pain management injections to her shoulders and was out of work for 3 months.
After listening to Adam Handler on the radio, a friend of Amy told her to call The Case Handler for legal help. Thanks to her friend’s recommendation, Amy increased her recovery from the Defendant’s insurance company and made a good recovery with the help of our skilled Bronx drag racing accident attorneys at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP!
