"I heard Adam on the radio and he sounded like the real deal. He helped a couple of Guyanese guys, and as a Jamaican, that resonated with me. From the moment I called, everything was smooth. I never felt like a number, and now my check’s right here in my hand. If you want someone genuine who’ll fight for you, Adam’s your guy. Big up to The Case Handler team!”
- Haz from Brooklyn, NY
What Happened?
On December 18, 2023, Haz was riding in the backseat of an Uber on his way home. He was looking down at his phone when the Uber driver stopped at a stop sign and then proceeded through the intersection. As the vehicle entered the intersection, another car traveling from the left - which had no stop signs - crossed through and crashed into the driver’s side of the Uber. The impact threw Haz against the door and onto the floor of the car. He was transported by ambulance to Kings County Hospital Center, where he received evaluation and treatment before being released the same day with pain medication.
As a result of the collision, Haz sustained injuries to his back, right knee, and right ankle. The impact also knocked out a dental filling. He experienced severe mid-back and lower-back pain radiating down to his right ankle, along with numbness and tingling in his right leg. He had difficulty bearing weight and could not bend, stand, or sit for longer than 20 minutes. Although conservative treatment helped, Haz ultimately required a pain management injection to his back.
Haz’s Brooklyn Uber Injury Lawyer
Haz had heard attorney Adam Handler on the radio, and The Case Handler team immediately came to mind because of our strong reputation and continued work within the Caribbean community. After his accident, he already knew who to call. The day after the collision, he reached out to our team. Since the car that hit Haz’s Uber had the right-of-way, it denied liability. With the Uber driver found to be at-fault, our skilled Brooklyn Uber injury lawyer fought for Haz’s rights as a passenger and successfully recovered a substantial settlement on his behalf!
