What Happened?
Roy was a prudent driver. On April 20, 2019, he was driving his 2012 BMW northbound on Flatbush Avenue as any other prudent driver would. When the 2012 Honda SUV in front of him slowed to a stop due to the red light, he also came to a full stop in compliance with the traffic laws. Unexpectedly, the driver of the 2006 Nissan SUV that was behind Roy collided with his car, pushing him into the 2012 Honda SUV in front of him! The police came to the scene of the accident. Roy was in such shock that he did not feel any pain immediately. However, the following day the pain he felt was so horrendous that he had to rush to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital.
As a result of the accident, Roy developed a cervical spine strain/sprain, myofascial pain; and a lumbosacral spine strain/sprain, myofascial pain. He attended physical therapy five (5) days per week for two weeks; and three (3) days per week for six (6) weeks. Roy had a hard time moving his cervical and lumbar spine. He had a difficult time doing heavy lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and turning side to side. He experienced constant neck pain. The accident wasn’t even his fault and his life as he knew it was completely changed.
Thankfully, Roy had heard Adam Handler’s show on the radio many times. Therefore, when this unexpected rear-end collision occurred, he knew who to call and even already had the number stored in his phone. From his very first call to his settlement day, Roy “would not change a thing” in choosing The Case Handler team. With the help of our personal injury team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, we helped Roy successfully recover compensation for his injuries!
