What Happened?
On September 3, 2022, Carson was driving a taxi southbound on Grand Avenue towards Stowe Avenue in the Town of Hempstead. As Carson approached the intersection, another vehicle making a left turn failed to yield the right-of-way, colliding with the driver’s side of Carson’s taxi! The other driver asserted to the police that Carson was at fault, citing “excessive speed” as the cause of the accident. Following the incident, Carson sought medical attention at Nassau University Medical Center where he underwent evaluation, treatment, and was subsequently discharged.
The accident resulted in injuries to Carson’s neck, lower back, and left shoulder. Pain radiated from his neck down his left shoulder and arm, while his lower back pain extended down his left leg.
