What Happened?
On January 18, 2015, Jim (a volunteer firefighter) was on his way to a 911 call when he noticed emergency vehicles up ahead. As he slowed down, the car directly behind him skidded into the rear of his vehicle, propelling Jim approximately 15-20 feet forward.
Jim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was evaluated and later released. As a result of the rear-end impact, Jim suffered injuries to his neck/shoulders, which caused him to experience numbness down both of his arms to his fingers. After a few examinations at follow-up doctor visits, an MRI revealed that Jim had spinal cord compression at multiple levels and a disc herniation that required surgery. Jim may also need to have another surgery in the future due to the extent of his injuries.
Jim has been listening to Adam Handler on the radio for the past 10 years and without a second thought, called The Case Handler for legal help. While Jim focused on healing from surgery, The Case Handler team worked with both sides of Jim’s case: personal injury and workers’ compensation (on-the-job injury). Our team fought to get Jim’s medical bills and time out of work paid. In addition, we obtained the maximum amount of insurance – $100,000 with the help of Adam’s well-known and great reputation with insurance companies!
