What Happened?
On February 7th, 2022, Leon was driving northbound on Cargo Plaza Road at JFK International Airport when he noticed a vehicle driving in the opposite direction quickly turn left and enter Leon’s lane to cross. Leon attempted to honk his horn and brake, but the other driver crashed into the front driver’s side of the car causing the side airbags to deploy! The other driver claimed in his report to the police that Leon was driving too fast and collided with his vehicle. Leon was taken by ambulance to the emergency room at Long Island Jewish Hospital Valley Stream where he was examined, treated, and later discharged home.
