Long Island Drunk Driver Accident Lawyer Review: Jack

Long Island Drunk Driver Accident Lawyer Review Jack

“They are a good team of lawyers. Thank you for helping me get through it.”

– Jack from Brooklyn, NY

Confidential Settlement

The Facts

On January 19th, 2018, Jack was driving southbound on the Rockaway Turnpike. When the light turned red at the intersection of Reyem Drive, Jack slowed to a stop. Moments later, Jack was rear-ended by another car that failed to stop at the red light! After the collision, the driver that crashed into Jack became enraged and tried to blame Jack for the accident. The driver got out of the car and punched Jack in the face, breaking his nose! When the police arrived, they discovered that the driver that crashed into Jack was intoxicated so they arrested him. Jack was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

As a result of the accident, Jack suffered injuries to his nose and lower back. He was required to have surgery to repair his nasal fracture. He experienced intermittent lower back pain (from lumbar disc herniations at L4-5 and L5-S1) which felt worse with prolonged sitting or standing. To help alleviate the pain in his back, Jack attended physical therapy multiple times per week.

A friend that Jack worked with told him all about The Case Handler team. In less than a week later after the accident, Jack hired our team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco to handle his bodily injury claim.  With the legal guidance of our Long Island drunk driver accident lawyers at PPID,  all of Jack’s medical expenses were taken care of and he recovered full compensation for his injuries!

The bad choices we make can seriously affect someone’s life forever.  Thankfully, Jack survived but he will have to deal with his injuries for the rest of his life. According to New York DMV, a driver can be charged with a DWI for having a .08 Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) and is punishable by up to one year of jail time, a fine between $500 and $1,000, and license revocation for at least 6 months. If the driver has .18 BAC or higher, the punishment is more severe. It’s not worth it. Don’t drink and drive!  If you or a loved one are ever injured by a drunk driver, make sure to choose “a good team of lawyers.”
