What Happened?
On November 21, 2017, Elizabeth was a front-seat passenger in an SUV that was turning left on Nereid Avenue in Bronx, New York. While turning, an oncoming vehicle was not paying attention and struck the passenger’s side of the SUV Elizabeth was in. The hit caused the SUV to lose control, and hit a pedestrian and tree! When Elizabeth was taken out of the vehicle, she could not stand at all. Elizabeth was rushed to Roosevelt Hospital to have her injuries evaluated.
As a result of the accident, Elizabeth experienced injuries to her legs, knees, back, and stomach. She had two hematomas in her right thigh and knee. She had a pinched nerve resulting from a dislocated disc in her back. Bending, lifting, and standing aggravated her back pain. Elizabeth’s knees and thighs hurt when she walked or went upstairs. She works as a home health attendant and missed six days of work because of the accident. Elizabeth went to physical therapy for 4 weeks following the incident to alleviate her pain.
Elizabeth was referred to The Case Handler team through a past client of Adam Handler. Elizabeth never went through an accident like this before. Adam made sure she felt comfortable with her representation by walking her through the process. Our team took care of her case while Elizabeth focused on her health and well-being. Thanks to our reliable New York City car accident lawyer at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP, we were able to recover Elizabeth the compensation she deserved.
