"Adam Handler is my Case Handler. He took care of me, and I know he’ll take care of you too. He’s just one phone call away. Don’t call anyone else—call Adam!"
- Tucker from Brooklyn, NY
What Happened?
On September 27, 2023, at approximately 6:15 a.m., Tucker was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle at a New York airport, positioned directly behind the front passenger seat on the right side. While the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign waiting to merge into traffic, it was suddenly rear-ended by an airport shuttle bus. Emergency responders evaluated Tucker at the scene, and he was transported by ambulance to a nearby emergency room, where he was evaluated, treated, and released later that day.
As a result of the accident, Tucker sustained injuries to his neck, right shoulder, left shoulder, and lower back. His neck pain radiated through his shoulders and worsened with reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and overhead motions. His lower back pain radiated down his lower right extremities and worsened with bending, lifting, and moving from sitting to standing. The pain disrupted his ability to get a full night's rest. When minimally invasive pain management failed, Tucker underwent multiple pain management injections, left shoulder surgery in February 2024, and lumbar spine surgery in December 2023. He was classified as 100% disabled from employment and was unable to return to work.
Tucker’s NYC Airport Shuttle Accident Lawyer
After being referred by a friend, Tucker contacted The Case Handler team the same day the accident occurred. Despite the shuttle driver admitting fault for the collision and summary judgment being awarded in our favor in June 2024, the defendants made no initial offer to compensate Tucker. Not wanting to face our skilled NYC Airport shuttle accident lawyer in court, the defendants ultimately agreed to compensate him. With our help, Tucker secured two settlement checks totaling $2.2 million!
