-Jada from Brooklyn, NY
On February 21, 2017, Jada was walking to her job that was at a cancer treatment facility. She was crossing the street between 66th Street and 3rd Avenue in NYC when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the car acted carelessly by ignoring the green crosswalk light that gave Jada the right of way. Consequently, Jada was violently knocked backwards by the front end of the car. Thankfully, the driver stopped and got out to help while a nearby pedestrian called an ambulance and waited with her. Jada was then taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital for an evaluation.
As a result of the accident, Jada sustained injuries to her back, neck, right wrist, head and tailbone. She was hospitalized for a few days, confined to her bed for a total of twelve weeks, and could not leave her house for six months after the accident! Her injuries required both neck surgery and back surgery. Jada strained and sprained multiple muscles and tendons in various portions of her back. She also had multiple disc herniations and sprained her right wrist, as a result of the accident. Jada now suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, post-concussion syndrome, vertigo, post-traumatic headaches and cognitive impairment. Moreover, she regularly has pain management injections and may still need other surgical procedures. All of her injuries cause lasting pain, disability and discomfort that is of a permanent nature. She is no longer able to work at the cancer treatment facility because of her injuries.
Jada initially heard about Adam from his radio show. Fortunately, she decided to save his number in the case of an emergency. After the accident occurred, she picked up the phone and made the call. Talking to Adam made the decision definitive that he was the right lawyer for her case. The Case Handler team made the process as simple as possible so Jada could rest and heal. She had been through enough pain and suffering, there was no need to make the legal process more stressful than it needed to be. Although the insurance company initially offered a $250,000.00 settlement, Adam felt Jada deserved much more. With the help of The Case Handler team, Jada received a settlement award of $2,650,000.00!
In Jada’s case, she was doing absolutely nothing wrong and still fell victim to a tragic accident. The unexpected can occur at any time, which in Jada’s case was when she was crossing the street. This is why it is absolutely necessary to save the number of a dependable and hardworking NYC crosswalk accident lawyer. If you were involved in a situation where you were wrongfully injured while walking or driving, contact a lawyer who, “Performed well when push came to shove.”
