The Facts
On July 7, 2018, Yvette was driving home. As she was driving through the intersection of 196th Street and 116th Avenue in Queens, NY, another vehicle ran the stop sign and t-boned Yvette’s vehicle on the passenger’s side! Yvette was in shock and felt numbness on the left side of her body immediately following the crash. She was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital.
As a result of the auto accident, Yvette suffered injuries to her left shoulder, left knee, neck and lower back. She participated in physical therapy, underwent pain management injections to her spine, and underwent surgery to her left shoulder on October 30, 2018. Yvette was confined to her home for approximately 10 weeks and she was totally incapacitated from employment during that time.
Yvette heard about The Case Handler team on the radio and called soon after the accident. The same day she called us, our team made sure she was set up to get the treatment she needed to begin the road to recovery. While Yvette focused on healing, our team handled the other driver’s alleged claim that Yvette was at fault for the accident. With the help of our knowledgeable Queens car accident lawyers at PPID, we proved that Yvette was not at fault for the accident, all of her medical bills were taken care of, and we recovered a substantial settlement for Yvette!
