What Happened?
On March 18th, 2019, Angela was driving southbound on Hannibal Street in Queens, New York. Since Angela had the right-of-way and did not have a stop sign at the approaching Keeseville Avenue intersection, she proceeded to drive through it. At that very moment, a vehicle on Keeseville Avenue failed to stop at the stop sign and crashed into Angela. The impact of the collision forced Angela to swerve to the right, drive through a fence, and stop at the side of a brick house! Angela was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where she was treated and released home.
As a result of the accident, Angela suffered injuries to her neck, back, right shoulder and knees. She complained of constant neck pain radiating to the right upper extremity that was associated with shooting pain on the right arm and weakness on the right hand that was exacerbated with neck motion. Angela also complained of constant back pain radiating to the lower extremities that were associated with pins and needles sensation on the legs and feet that was exacerbated with bending. Several MRI’s revealed that she sustained multiple disc bulges and disc herniations to her cervical and lumbar spine, right knee lateral meniscus tear, and left knee MCL sprain. Angela was unable to work for about a month due to her injuries.
Angela’s daughter, who was already a client of The Case Handler team, told Angela to contact The Case Handler team for legal help after her car accident. Thanks to her daughter’s recommendation and legal guidance of our experienced Queens building collision accident lawyer, all of Angela’s medical bills were paid and she recovered life-changing compensation for her life-changing injuries – plus all of her lost wages!
