“Adam and his whole team were wonderful. Very attentive and kept me updated the whole way through. I appreciated the honesty and his fight. I went in with no expectations and left very pleased. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know.”

What Happened?
On March 25, 2024, Celeste was driving eastbound on Grand Central Parkway in the center lane when traffic ahead of her began to slow down. As she noticed the brake lights in front of her, she gradually pressed her brakes over the course of about 15 seconds. Suddenly, she was rear-ended by the vehicle behind her. The other driver immediately exited their vehicle to check on Celeste, apologizing and admitting, “The sun was bright” which caused them to fail to see her slowing down. Celeste was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where she was evaluated, treated, and discharged with medication.
As a result of the accident, Celeste sustained injuries to her neck, back, and right knee (meniscus tear). She experienced neck pain radiating to her shoulders, which worsened with head rotation. Her back pain extended down her lower extremity and intensified with bending or prolonged sitting. Additionally, her knee pain made standing and walking for long periods difficult. When conservative treatment failed to provide relief, Celeste underwent right knee surgery in June 2024, followed by a pain management injection in September 2024. She was unable to work for three weeks.
Celeste’s Settlement With Our Queens Slow Down Accident Lawyer
Thanks to a wonderful recommendation from a past client, Celeste reached out to The Case Handler team the very next day after her accident. Despite the other driver admitting fault, their insurance company initially offered an unreasonably low settlement and even tried to argue that Celeste was partially at fault, claiming she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. With the help of our Queens slow down accident lawyer, the judge granted us summary judgment in our favor without the need for a full trial. In the end, all of Celeste’s medical expenses were covered, and she successfully recovered a $75,000 settlement in just 10 months!
