What Happened?
On March 17, 2025, Caleb was driving eastbound on Montauk Highway in the Town of Brookhaven. While slowing down due to traffic ahead, the vehicle behind him failed to slow down and rear-ended his car. The impact caused Caleb to be pushed into the vehicle in front of him. Since the driver of the front vehicle did not notice any visible damage, they left the scene of the accident. Caleb was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he was evaluated, treated, and released with a prescription for pain medication.
As a result of the rear-end collision, Caleb suffered injuries to his neck, back, and left shoulder. He experienced neck pain radiating into his left shoulder when turning his head, left shoulder pain with overhead reaching, and back pain when bending. He participated in conservative pain management for several months, along with a home exercise program. When conservative treatment no longer improved his left shoulder symptoms, Caleb received a pain management injection in August 2025, which provided relief. Thankfully, surgery was not required.
Caleb’s Town of Brookhaven Car Accident Lawyer
A past client of ours, and friend of Caleb, recommended that he contact our team right away. On the same day the accident occurred, Caleb called us for legal help. While Caleb focused on his recovery, our team handled everything else. Despite only moderate visible damage to one side of Caleb’s rear bumper and the fact that he did not require surgery, our Town of Brookhaven car accident lawyers were still able to recover the maximum policy limit from the defendant’s insurance company.
