“I am beyond grateful for the incredible team of Matthew, Sasha, and Sandy. From start to finish, they were more than just a legal team. They were true advocates, supporters and guides through a difficult time in my life.
Matthew was calm, confident, and incredibly knowledgeable. I always felt like I had someone in my corner who genuinely cared. Sasha was so detail-oriented and compassionate, making sure no question went unanswered. And Sandy was a constant source of warmth and support, always making me feel at ease. To anyone else who played a part behind the scenes, thank you as well. Your efforts made a real difference, and I appreciate each and every one of you.
Together, they made a situation that could have been overwhelming into something completely manageable. Their kindness, communication, and professionalism took the stress out of the process. I never felt like just another case. I felt heard, valued, and genuinely cared for.
If you are looking for a team that will fight for you and walk every step of the journey with you, this is it. I can’t thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.”
- Macy from Yonkers, NY
What Happened?
On Monday, November 7, 2022, Macy was driving out of a train station when she slowed down at a yield sign in preparation for merging onto Central Park Avenue. She was suddenly rear-ended by the vehicle behind her. Not bracing for the impact, her body jerked forward and back, causing her head to hit the headrest. The damage to her vehicle appeared minimal and not too serious, but Macy experienced significant pain after the accident. Since the ambulance was taking too long to arrive, Macy’s family members showed up and drove her to the hospital. Macy was evaluated, treated, and released home with pain medication.
As a result of the rear-end collision, Macy suffered injuries to her neck and back. She experienced headaches, memory loss, and neck pain radiating to both shoulders and her back, with difficulty sitting and standing for extended periods. She underwent conservative therapy for several months, which helped diminish some of her pain, but her symptoms continued, mostly in the mid-back, and worsened at night. When conservative treatment failed to improve her pain, Macy underwent pain management injections in October 2024.
Macy’s Yonkers Rear-End Accident Lawyer
It wasn’t long after the accident that Macy knew she needed a lawyer. She heard The Case Handler team on the radio and knew exactly who she wanted to call. Two days after the accident, she contacted our team for legal support.
Although the Defendant clearly struck Macy from behind, the Defendant’s insurance company “investigated” and claimed the case had questionable causation, falsely stating that Macy stopped abruptly. They denied liability. Despite their pushback, our team filed a Motion for Summary Judgment, providing sufficient evidence establishing liability. The judge agreed with us, and our motion was granted. Less than two weeks later, our Yonkers rear-end accident lawyers secured a $30,000 settlement check for Macy!
