“From the very beginning, I had a great experience. I first heard about Mr. Adam Handler and Mr. Matthew Goodstein on the radio. Choosing The Case Handler team gave me peace of mind, and they handled everything professionally. Thank you!”
- Debbie from Jamaica, NY
What Happened?
In October 2022, Debbie was parked with her car and lights on in Queens, New York. She was dropping off a family member and sitting in her car when another vehicle came out of nowhere and, with no warning, rear-ended the left side of her vehicle. The impact caused Debbie to hit her head twice on the headrest, and her car was pushed forward past a few houses and onto the sidewalk. Thankfully, she quickly stepped on the brakes to prevent her car from hitting a nearby tree. Debbie was evaluated by EMS at the scene and later taken home by her family member since her car was not drivable. The very next day, she went to the hospital, where she was evaluated, treated, and subsequently released.
As a result of the accident, Debbie suffered injuries to her neck, back, and left wrist. After hitting her head, she suffered from post-traumatic headaches. She also experienced neck pain with stiffness and tightness, severe and constant lower back pain, and left wrist pain that made it difficult for her to perform daily activities. She was required to wear a wrist brace.
Debbie participated in conservative treatment for months and was unable to return to work for eight weeks. Thankfully, her symptoms improved with minimally invasive treatment, and she did not need surgery.
Debbie’s Queens Parked Car Accident Attorney
Debbie already knew about our team from the radio and knew she needed to call The Case Handler. The very next day, Debbie contacted us for legal help.
While Debbie focused on her physical recovery, we handled the rest! The defendant claimed that Debbie pulled into the roadway, causing the accident. However, this argument completely fell apart after we proved that Debbie was dropping off a family member who was still in the car when the accident happened. If Debbie was really pulling back into the roadway after dropping off her family member, the family member would not still have been in the car.
For years, the defendant’s insurance company refused to accept liability and made no settlement offers. We didn’t back down and filed a lawsuit.
Despite the defendant’s insurance company’s refusal to take accountability, our Queens parked car accident attorney, Matthew Goodstein, and our entire Case Handler team successfully secured a $45,000 settlement!
